Three years ago on this very day, my spiritual teacher, my inspiration, transitioned out from his human form; today’s blog post is my way of honouring the wisdom and teachings of this giant among men, Dr Wayne W Dyer.
An influential and inspirational presence, Wayne Dyer was one of the world’s foremost teachers of transformational wisdom and a friend to the human race; a great man who loved deeply and who was endowed with a unique talent to articulate principles of higher consciousness and spiritual wisdom in a way that was easy to understand and in a way that played a massively significant role in my own spiritual awakening and continues to do so as I journey through life.
A great spiritual luminary, Wayne Dyer had an insatiable appetite for learning and for his own personal and spiritual growth, working tirelessly for over 40 years providing comfort, hope, support, kindness and inspiration to millions of people around the globe. When life gets tough, I open up one of his many books or listen to his audio recordings or watch one of his recorded live events and he reminds me how absolutely sacred, valuable, blessed and wonderful I am and I am comforted in the knowing that he continues to guide me in an even more profound way. He will forever live in my mind and in my heart.
He blessed this world with his light and taught me to
‘’Go within, discover your invisible higher self and know God as the Love that is within you’’
Thank you Wayne for your comfort, your support, your love, your truth and your commitment to elevating the consciousness of this planet. I am deeply grateful that you walked the earth at the same time I did and I give thanks to have lived in a time and in a situation where I could receive your gifts and continue to do so.
Wayne often talked about death and truly believed that ‘’death does not exist’’. A Course in Miracles teaches us that ‘’death is not the punishment, death is the reward’’ and I am happy for him that he has moved onto the next stage of his adventure. He is still with us, not in person but in spirit, and without the limitation of his body, he can do even greater things, helping even more people at the same time, free from the limitations of time and space.
Wayne believed that everything happens for a reason and I do too. We may not understand the reason at first, but in hindsight you will come to know and see that there is a purpose behind everything and that ‘’there are no accidents in a perfect universe’’.
Thank you Wayne for inspiring me to heal and live my best life, to be audacious, to live simply, to keep my thoughts clean, to not care about the good opinion of others and most importantly, to not die with my music still in me. I honour your teachings by living them daily and spreading your wisdom to others.

Take some time today and every day to pause and to remember what Wayne Dyer wanted us all to know more than anything… You are God, a Divine spiritual being having a temporary human experience on your journey back to where you started.
