You Are A Miracle – A Letter to Humanity

Dear fellow human

I was guided to dedicate this week’s blog post on life and the power behind it. Once you understand the unlimited power that is available to you and every single living human being on this planet, you understand how great you can be and you understand that you can make your life whatever you want it to be.

Growing up and throughout our lives, we encounter people who may encourage us to follow certain life paths, paths that perhaps were never meant for us. Many people (even well-meaning family and friends) believe they know what is best for you and this is especially true in our younger years, but only you know what is best for you. No one, not even your parents, know what is best for you, except for you.

I’ve always been gracious enough to listen to other people’s opinions but have been strong enough to know they are just opinions; what others say about you is not important and should be none of your business.

What others say only seems to be important if you let it enter your heart. You always have the power, the choice of what you do and do not let affect you and only you can decide what your truth is. How do you know your truth? You feel it. You listen to your heart, to your intuition – it never lies and always knows the right path to choose. All you have to do is find time to silence the loud and sometimes deafening noise of life, be alone, be still, stay quiet and listen. From this silence, you will hear the answers, the truth will be revealed.

I spent the large majority of my life being a people pleaser, falsely believing that in pleasing others I would gain their approval, acceptance, likeability and even love, but life has taught me that in the end, you please no one and you remove yourself from who you truly are and the magnificent being you incarnated to be. We grow up in a society in which we are told to play it safe. Even the education system is geared towards playing it safe. Study hard, get qualifications, find a secure job and do what everyone else does. I was one of those that had been brainwashed into this way of thinking until my daughter challenged my views which led to an awakening from this antiquated view of life, reconditioning my belief system. My advice is do your best in everything you do, learn all you can in whatever areas interest you, grow all you can and know that qualifications do not determine your outcome. You do. So do what is right, not what is easy. In my experience, the easy option almost always leads to a hard life.

Pondering over the question of what life’s greatest gift is, I have come to the realisation and the knowing that life’s greatest gift is not money or anything of financial value. Life’s greatest gift is something much more valuable. It’s the gift of knowing that you control your thoughts, it’s the gift of knowing that you can have, be and do anything you want in this world. There are no limits to what you can achieve. Feel the truth in that. Feel it with all your heart. The people who achieve great things in life are those who believe they can.

You can have anything. You can be and do anything. You can change this world for the better. Remember, you attract into your life whatever it is you believe you deserve, so change your thoughts and you change your life.

If having control over your thoughts is life’s greatest gift, then what is life’s greatest power? GRATITUDE. Know that you are blessed and be grateful every single day no matter what is going on. Life will challenge you, it will test you. But know always there are no mistakes and with a strong mind and an unbreakable spirit, nothing can ever defeat you. Yes, life isn’t always fair; sometimes things happen that no one can explain or justify but know that everything happens for a reason, obstacles are thrown onto our paths to help us grow and learn something more about ourselves. Know that you will never be defined by the circumstances of your life. The measure of your life will be how you react to your circumstances and in the toughest of moments, we have our greatest opportunities for growth. Stay strong and know that this too shall pass. Every moment passes and every moment is an opportunity to learn and develop from.

This universe truly is an amazing place and every day is a new opportunity to create miracles, to create magic, to create happiness for yourself and for those around you. Be grateful every day for what you do have and life will reward you by giving you more to be grateful for. If you aren’t grateful for anything and find yourself complaining a lot, the universe will provide you with more things to complain about. These are universal laws.

The truth is that life is a miracle. You are a miracle. If you just consider how you came into this world and the journey you had to take to get here, you will have all you need to believe in miracles, to know that you are here for a purpose, to know that your life has immense value and to know you are a powerful creator.

Life is short; even a fully lived life flashes by so fast but the truth is none of us are guaranteed time on this earth; this however is not something to fear. It is something to embrace because knowing that life can end at any moment is all you need to start living fully, now and every moment in the future. It’s all you need to know to go after the things you want most in life. Never hold back in doing that which you want to do, that which you love, that which sets your soul on fire. Never hold back in telling those you love exactly how you feel.

Be kind to others. Even the happiest of people on the outside fight battles on the inside you know nothing about. Your kindness could make all the difference in someone’s life. Always choose kindness over being right. Remember too that no one will care so much as to what you do, no one will care about your material possessions, the car you drive or your bank balance. They will care about how you made them feel. They will care if you heard their voice, if they mattered to you. What is lacking in this world is people with a kind heart who actually use their kind heart in the service of others.

The secret of life that will help you attract everything you have ever wanted is to be happy. You don’t need the fancy house, the most expensive car, the money. These things don’t matter in the grand scheme of life. Do what makes you happy. Spend time with people who make you smile. Do more of what makes you happy and life will deliver more to be happy about. Love life and life will love you back.
